Temporary assignments are a viable option for our customer to fill positions on a temporary basis and are intended to be open ended to complete an assignment. It covers the need for an employee or employees to complete a special project or duties that will not last for a permanent long term length of time. It is temporary in nature and intent.
Any SPB employee is available to be transferred to your employment record to become a part of your permanent workforce. Typical rollover time is a minimum of 320 hours, which is generally equivalent to (8)-40 hour weeks. There is not a maximum time frame that limits our employee to fulfill your longer-term assignment. This type of employment gives our employee an opportunity to work an assignment and be considered for an opportunity to go permanent with our client company. This gives our employee a chance to be gainfully employed receiving weekly compensation while earning a chance to be considered for a permanent position with one of our premier client companies. There is no implied, or otherwise expected, guarantee that our employee will be offered a permanent position with our client company.
Should an SPB employee fail to perform satisfactorily, they will be removed from the assignment. You are not expected to keep anyone that is not performing to your complete satisfaction.
Should you wish to hire for a permanent position without going through the temporary program, SPB is licensed by the State of South Carolina to recruit people directly into permanent positions. SPB will recruit to find a qualified candidate of your choice for your consideration.
Typical fees for Permanent Placements are based on a small percentage of the annual salary for the recruited position. Permanent position placements can be paid for in one-third increments over a 30-60-90 day period, thereby, guarantee the satisfactory performance for the new hire for 90 days. This is a great management tool to hire new employees. Fees are negotiable based on total volume participation.
SPB offers our service to companies that have pre-identified a workforce through previous considerations. This service is handled differently from our other staffing programs. This service is tailored to accept your workforce as identified and allows our staff to transfer these workers into our system without any background investigation.
This particular service works well for bringing in retirees from your company which prevents mixing payroll with their retirement package.
SPB offers Out-Placement Services to all clients. This is an assistance program to help client companies with their own displaced employees to find gainful employment through SPB & Associates' network. This, of course, is a service and does not constitute a guarantee of placement.
